Well we survived another Smocking Shoppe retreat! We had the best time, just the right amount of people and projects. It seems everyone completed something( including me). Just think 2 1/2 days of Great sewing, friends and most of all FOOD!!
On a sad note Linda Carswell ( my partner in CRIME, everyone knows we share a brain!) had to leave because her husband was not feeling well and they had three of their nine children at their house. We all missed her.

Diane Ciolek's husband Ralph had knee replacement on Monday November 4. He is already up and about with the use of his cane. We all hope for his continued progress. Because of Diane's husbands surgery I had to conduct the What's Hot class that evening. I put up some of the projects everyone brought that evening. Be sure to stop by for this FREE class on the first Monday evening of the month. Lots of tips, tricks and encouragement of the projects you are working on...and most important laughs, laughs and more laughs!

We have some great things coming up in the next couple of weeks at The Smocking Shoppe.
We have Marsha Kirsch coming in on Wednesday November 20, 2013 for the Never-ending Notions seminar. Be sure to sign up there are only twenty spots and they are going fast.
Our 32nd Anniversary sale is also that weekend - November 22-23. Remember EVERYTHING is on sale.

We have decided to go back to our old ( but New ) newsletter format. Look for it at the end of November. The website will continue to have pictures. descriptions and supply list. October has been a very busy month at The Smocking Shoppe! We had the American Sewing Guild visit us on Oct 10th. We also had Angela Wolf for 3 days, those who took the class left with fitted jackets patterns (everyone's fit wonderfully).

November has some FUN days coming up also! We have our annual getaway coming up the first weekend in November. Remember we will also have our Anniversary Sale in November, watch for the dates and save up your money (discounts, discounts, discounts!!!).
We also have Husqvarna Viking Educator Marsha Kirsch coming November 20, 2013.
